Christy Webber Landscapes is a well established and vibrant company located in the City of Chicago. Our market has provided us with seemingly endless possibilities to grow and evolve as an organization. Project Manager

The Project Manager is the consistent face and voice clients learn to trust.  They communicate constantly with other divisional positions and departments in order to meet client expectations and produce jobs that are profitable.

Responsibilities include:

1. Brings new and/or recurring work into the company.
2. Provides excellent customer service to their clients.
3. Supervises their jobs in a manner that maximizes overall client satisfaction and company financial health.
4. Informs Field Supervisors about the client’s expectations on each job and works with the Field Supervisor to put an implementation plan together for the job.
5. Trains Field Supervisor and assists in training Foremen.

Commercial Construction Estimator
The Estimator needs 3 years experience in doing “take offs” from landscape plans. Good math skills a MUST along with good communication skills with Vendors and General Contractors/Sub-Contractors. Need strong computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

1. Measuring and calculating areas from landscape plans manually and with plotter.
2. Verifying plant counts.
3. Calculates bulk quantities needed for job.
4. Creates estimate in Master Builder (experience with program a plus).
5. Contacts Generals and Subs for prices, schedules, other information required.

Field Supervisor

The Field Supervisor directly oversees production crews. 
Responsibilities include:

1. Oversees daily activities of the production crews.
2. Trains Foremen and assists in training crew members.
3. Works with purchasing, yard and shop staff to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.
4. Coordinates job scheduling and communicates progress with Project Manager.
5. Interacts with clients and Project Manager to resolve production based job issues.

Foreman

Foremen at Christy Webber Landscapes lead crews that provide landscape service work. 
Responsibilities include:

1. Directs onsite work of crew members as specified by Field Supervisor.
2. Responsible for quality of service provided by crew.
3. Lead working member of a production crew.
4. Ensures the proper care of materials and equipment assigned to crew.
5. Trains crew members in the Christy Webber way.
6. Tracks job progress through timesheets and updates Field Supervisor immediately of any issues that may occur.
7. Interacts with clients in a professional manner.

Small Engine Mechanic  

Minimum of 4 years experience repairing and maintaining small engines and trucks.  A valid driver’s license is a must and being bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a definite plus!

Responsibilities include:

1. Repairing and maintaining trucks, lawn mowers, blowers, skid steers, snow salters, snowblowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, etc.
2. Monitoring equipment functioning.
3. Overseeing scheduled maintenance.
4. Miscellaneous shop and yard duties.
5. Majority of work is outdoors. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
